Shoprite announced the lauching of Shoprite Mobile Money in Nigeria Soon

This is a notable improvement in Nigeria in which the Largest food retail of South Africa’s “Shoprite.” has come up in launching its own Mobile Money Service called “Shoprite Mobile Money.” The company has more than 17 stores across Nigeria. They have employed more than 2000 people which 98% are Nigerian citizens.

This company partnered with Google Global financial technology company celbux. And Standard Bank to make the launching of this particular e-payment service. The system will allow customers to deposit, withdraw, and to send money. And as you buy groceries at any of their store across the country.

This system will also allow users to buy airtime using your mobile. The payment of electricity as far as they have funds in their Shoprite Mobile Account.

In the statement of the company, “This service called Shoprite Mobile Money is a system. in which you can transact banking service through your mobile and available for everyone.”

The transaction is free of charge, excluding cash withdrawals fee of R9.95. In which is South Africa Rand’s, and this system Shoprite Mobile available for users from 18 years of age. And older with a valid SA ID document, irrespective of their device, connectivity, and mobile network, Said.

The Shoprite Money will be available in Nigeria and other countries in the next 10 to 15 months.
