After the death of father in the year 1664, Purcell Henry moved to his uncle “Thomas” for mentorship, he received kindness and affection from uncle Thomas, and he placed Henry to join the chorister. The little boy was mentored under Master if the children, Henry Cooke and also Pelham Humfrey.
