Full Nik Day Biography, Age, Relationship & Wiki. Nik Day is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is a talented singer-songwriter who was born on the 24th of July, 1987. In my last post i revealed a link to download one of his sheet music, Peace In Christ sheet music.

Nik Day Early Life

Nik Day is a composer, producer, and vocalist. On July 24, 1987, he was born in Japan. The family relocated a lot since his father was in the Air Force. Nik and his family had living in Michigan, Washington, and Idaho by the time he was six years old.

He started messing with the family piano when he was a youngster, creating small pieces that he played for his family.

He began creating larger works at the age of thirteen, and by the age of sixteen, he had created a collection of piano solos, which he marketed to piano players and their pupils in Idaho Falls.

He was a member of a cappella band in high school and composed parts for a few original songs. He proceeded to improve his musical abilities by downloading a recording tool that allowed him to create pieces. He began recording his own tunes and experimenting with other instruments soon after.

He studied music at Brigham Young University–Idaho and visited California with a jazz choir. He also began singing his songs at “Heart, Mind, and Soul,” a neighborhood venue.

He also began doing major events dubbed Acoustic Dynamite and Guitars Unplugged, which BYU-Idaho sponsored.

He moved to Brigham Young University after completing a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico. He was admitted into the media music department.

He released his debut album, Interesting Shade of Blue, while his this year in the program. He also began an internship with the Church, where he collaborated with a group of four other students to write religious music for the first Mutual CD. He then engaged as a consultant for the Church, producing songs and composing short films.

He obtained a job as the International Music Manager for the Church after a brief trip to Nashville, fostering new LDS talent in songwriting, recording, and performance. He also oversees the yearly Mutual album’s production and assists in the writing and presentation of the Particularly for Youth CDs.

Miracle, his first Christian album, was published in 2016. In 2017, he will release his second album..
